Sustainable Schools

Our journey:  At Bogong Outdoor Education Centre, our aim is to empower all students to develop beliefs, values, attitudes and behaviours that will lead to sustainable living. We believe that this is possible due to our unique location in the beautiful Victorian alpine region, our engaging teaching and curriculum as well through the students living and learning in a residential outdoor setting.

We demonstrate our commitment to striving towards a sustainable community by making sustainability a major component of our schools strategic plan and through our involvement in the national framework for sustainability in schools, the Australian Sustainable Schools Initiative (Aussi). We are currently undertaking the Core module with CERES as our facilitators.
