CERES - SEOG

CERES Sustainability Education Outreach Group (SEOG) CERES Community Environment Park has been delivering sustainability education to schools for 27 years. In 2010 CERES Education onsite will be welcoming its one millionth school visitor. The CERES Sustainability Education Outreach Group (SEOG) has enabled CERES sustainability experts to work in schools through the ResourceSmart AuSSI Vic Program and CERES Incursions. Over the last 10 years we have worked with over 25% of Victorian schools.

We also provide consultancy services and mentoring for community groups who are creating CERES-type centres around Australia, ranging from neighbourhood houses to large site development. We have also worked with other centres in Melbourne to produce ‘A Travellers’ Guide to Eco Centres’.

In the Outreach Projects section, we present some thoughts about EcoCentres like CERES and extracts from work done at Nambour and Mildura.
