Chelsea Heights Primary School
Chelsea Heights Primary school is located Bayside south of Melbourne. The school was established in 1900 in what was then the area known as the Carrum Swamp. The current buildings and grounds are extensive and well developed, bearing little resemblance to the small school which was built to educate an enrolment of 36 students. The Prep Centre and the June Elliott Hall have been built and major renovations and extension were completed on the main building in 2005.
At Chelsea Heights Primary School, we make informed choices to reduce our resource use in a way that minimises environmental impact. Our sustainability program helps us reduce our ecological footprint and enhance the educational experience. Living sustainably also helps our school reduce and redirect financial outlay to benefit teaching and learning
