Our experience in running a 4 hectare site with buildings, home, farm, education centre, nursery, cafe, etc has provided CERES personnel with rich experience in environmental education, environmental planning & design, appropriate technologies and resource management.

CERES Advisory Services can be used in association with the Sustainable Schools Program. It can also be used by any school or organisation interested in (but not restricted to):

• Biodiversity enhancement and indigenous plantings.
• Horticultural projects.
• Organic gardening and farming.
• Energy audits and conservation measures.
• Greenhouse audits and reduction strategies.
• Resource use and purchasing practices.
• Waste and litter reduction.
• Water conservation planning & implementation including: water audits; rainwater, grey water, stormwater, and black water treatments and processing; efficiency improvements and water reuse; tank storage; reed bed systems.
• Training sessions for workplaces, staff and students in sustainability practices and ideas for environmental management systems/ Triple Bottom Line reporting.
• Planning and installation of Environmental Trails for parklands, community spaces, large buildings, schools etc.
• Environmental interpretation and signage design and installation (leaflets, indoor and outdoor signage).
• Environmental festival and special event planning including student environmental projects.
• Establishing ‘CERES-like’ Ecocentres and community environment park ideas in other centres, parklands, schools etc.
