Better known for Indonesian shadow puppetry and art workshops,
this educator actually started in the education world as a
theatre arts teacher. Having grown up in natural environments
with parents and a Grandma who taught a young mind how to
appreciate and value the world, a long term passion for the
environment has long been in the making.
Following the Bali bombings and the instant demise of a highly
successful Indonesian arts and travel company, CERES lay down
the challenge of the Sustainable Schools Initiative. Working
on the pilot program and developing a large portfolio of schools,
Glenn has spent the last three and half years thoroughly enjoying
working with schools, government agencies and other non-government
organisations.
Glenn’s other passions include sailing, theatre and
working out how to be a dad having misplaced the instruction
book. Short term goal is to be nominated as Environmental
Teacher of the Year (hint hint). Long term goal is to sail
the South Pacific in a big wooden boat (hint hint!!).
Glenn is now working as a casual advisor to the AuSSI Vic
program as he works as part of a team to create his own Sustainability
Strategy company Hatch
Generation. He is the Education, Sustainable Systems &
Carbon Trading Strategist and co-founder of Hatch.
