Paul grew up in a farming community in Northern Victoria and has been teaching in catholic schools for 21 years.

For the past nine years Paul has been teaching at St Francis of the Fields Primary, Strathfieldsaye (near Bendigo). During this time he has filled the role of environmental coordinator and has been involved in the development of the sustainability projects at the school.

In 2003 Paul became the Regional Facilitator for Sustainable Schools in Central Victoria and in 2005 he was seconded to the Sandhurst Catholic Education Office as the Sustainable Schools project education officer.

Paul’s hobbies include camping, working on the family farm, swimming and bush walking with the family. He is married to Lisa and has three kids: Eamon 15, Ellen 12 and Mairead 9.
