Garnaut Climate Change Review.
The Garnaut Climate Change Review was commissioned by Australia's State and Territory Governments on 30 April 2007. The recently elected Prime Minister of Australia has confirmed the participation of the Commonwealth Government in the Review. The Review will examine the impacts of climate change on the Australian economy, and recommend medium to long-term policies and policy frameworks to improve the prospects for sustainable prosperity.

2007 National Plastics Recycling Survey.
Industry and consumers recycled a record 30.5% of plastics packaging for the second consecutive year, according to the Plastics and Chemicals Industries Association (PACIA). Its 2007 National Plastics Recycling Survey reported an overall recycling rate for all grades of plastics, ranging from beverage bottles to polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and piping products, of 15.9%
