Thursday 10th September The Southern Cross Recycling van will be coming to the school to collect any old clothes, sheets, books and toys you want to get rid of. Start cleaning out those cupboards and bring anything to school on Thursday 10th September.

PLASTIC RECYCLING

The school will no longer be collecting the plastic in the library. However there is GREAT NEWS!!! Coles and Woolworths offer the same service for free. Please collect all your plastic packaging at home and take it to the supermarket where they will recycle it

Australian Food

Last year the school promoted buying Australian food to reduce the cost to the environment through unnecessary transportation of food, producing green house gasses. We encourage the community to support this at home by purchasing Australian food.

Earth Hour

2w performed at assembly to show how electricity can pollute the environment and promoted Earth Hour to reduce pollution. Families were asked to participate in Earth Hour by filling out a form and returning it to school, explaining how they spent their Earth Hour.
