Manningham Teachers Environment Network (TEN)

The Manningham Teachers Environment Network (TEN) has been set up to support teachers in the Manningham municipality. The network is funded by Manningham City Council and coordinated by Carolyn Shurey from CERES Community Environment Park.

The first meeting of the Manningham TEN started in May 2011 and currently meets once a term at various venues and schools in and around the Manningham area.

Our group aims are to:
•    Provide an opportunity for teachers to network, share resources, knowledge, experiences and skills relevant to education for sustainability in school
•    Support teachers in delivering an integrated sustainability curriculum relevant to the Manningham area
•    Support and encourage schools involved in the ResourceSmart-AuSSI Vic program
•    Create coordinated actions across schools in the Manningham municipality with connections to council services and other local organisations or ...
•    Connect Manningham Council goals with local school/teachers’ goals

If you are part of a school in the Manningham municipality or a local community organisation, please join our network by clicking on 'join network' at in the bottom right hand corner of this page. We'd love to hear from you!
