The Centre for Sustainability Leadership (CSL) is running a fully funded leadership program for Year 9 and 10 students around Melbourne in Term 3 and 4 this year. The Future Environmental Leaders Program (FELP) focuses on personal, social and environmental sustainability, aiming to connect students across schools and allow them to develop skills that build their collective capability to create the future they want to see.
CSL are looking for 5-10 students from 3-5 secondary schools around Melbourne who are passionate about sustainability.
FELP has been funded under Boeings Corporate Responsibility Program, so there is no cost to participants or the schools involved.
The inaugural program ran in Brisbane last year and was a huge success.
The program will include:
- 1 weekend retreat in rural Victoria
- 6 x 3hr workshops on a Thursday or Friday morning
- Online learning via Rewired, CSLs online leadership program
- 1 group project (per school).
The Melbourne program starts on 11 August 2017.
