This Teacher Professional Development session is a program which is part of the current exhibition ‘Circle’, by award winning children’s author and artist Jeannie Baker. Illustrations from her new long awaited book follows the migration of the Bar-tailed Godwit from Australia through Southeast Asia to its Alaskan breeding grounds and then back to Australia.
The exhibition is currently showing at the Domain House (Dallas Brooks House Drive, Melbourne) until 14 May 2017 (Wed – Sun, 10am – 3pm).

Wetland environments can stimulate children’s imagination, learning and enjoyment of the natural world. At this workshop, discover through hands on practical sessions the importance of wetlands in an urban water cycle, shorebird habitats and explore the inspirational way literature can play a key part in an imaginative approach to exploring nature through Jeannie Baker’s Circle.
