Energy Campaign

It’s time to focus on saving energy and we’re helping schools and centres take action by inviting you all to take part in our Energy Challenge. We have partnered with experts in renewable energy solutions for this challenge.

You do not need to complete all 3 challenges. Each completed challenge is an entry into the draw, so the more challenges your school/centre completes, the more chances you have to WIN!

A big thank you to Enervest and Enhar for providing their expertise to the winning school/centre.

During the campaign we will also provide lots of resources, programs, events, grants, and all things relating to energy, so visit this page regularly so you don’t miss out!

Video – At Home Energy Audit

Watch our short video to learn about where energy comes from, and why GreenPower is the best source of energy. Use our ‘Home Energy Audit sheet’ to look at energy efficiency in your home, and learn where you can try and save more.
Suitable for primary

Home Energy Audit

Are your lights left on when you leave the room? Is your heater running too high? Is cool air escaping through small cracks under your doors? Lets undertake a home energy audit to help us understand where and when our energy (electricity) is used, and find ways to reduce it!

To find out where your home’s energy comes from, as well as more helpful tips to reduce the amount of energy you use, check out this energy clip!

This lesson allows students to investigate how energy is used at home and identify where action can be taken to reduce energy use. Students will identify and record energy usage around the home and evaluate their homes energy use and suggest strategies to reduce energy consumption.
