Project Description

Australian Stockholm Junior Water Prize

Applications close: 16 December 2019

Awards Organiser: Australian Water Association

The Australian Stockholm Junior Water Prize is an annual water science competition which allows high school students to create solutions for current and future water challenges.

The competition challenges young people to think big and take a fresh look at local and global water problems, and encourages students to delve into all areas of water. The prize is open to students between the ages of 15 and 20 years who have conducted water-related projects of environmental, scientific, social or technological importance. Entrants can be individuals or in groups of up to three students.

The winner of the Australian Stockholm Junior Water Prize will go on to compete internationally for the Stockholm Junior Water Prize. Students will travel to Stockholm during World Water Week in August 2020 to participate in the week-long cultural exchange program with national winners from over 30 other nations.
