Want to make your own crochet blanket for those cooler winter nights? This fun and relaxed 2 hour class designed for beginners, will teach you the basic stitches to make a ‘granny square’ and get you started on your DIY project. All crochet materials needed will be supplied.
The course will be led by Leisa, founder of The Crochet Hut. Leisa is a very patient and knowledgeable teacher who brings her passion for her craft into the class. Leisa’s classes book out quickly and everyone always comes away with great new skills and wanting more!
Leisa has always been creative and very interested in crafts and has been doing art and craft work all throughout her schooling years and now into her adult life. Leisa took up crocheting 8 years ago while she was working in the city and wanted to fill in her time while she was on the train. Leisa taught herself to crochet by following YouTube tutorials, and is now considered an advanced crocheter having completed many projects from easy levels to complicated projects – one even took her 6 months to finish.
Leisa has now started her own Crochet business called The Crochet Hut which is based in the South Eastern suburb of Berwick in Victoria.
