This workshop is designed for plant lovers! Those who are interested in living a Permaculture lifestyle, in relation to plants and how to use them in the kitchen and garden.

In this workshop you will learn strategies and techniques that will broaden your knowledge and increase your skill in gardening and homesteading.

You will learn:

  • Regenerative garden design
  • Practical gardening skills and tips
  • how to increase plant and food diversity in your garden
  • Self cycling garden systems
  • Nutrition and properties of plants
  • Plants for food, medicine, fodder, nectar and habitat
  • Forest garden systems

When we envisage a Permaculture oasis usually it is a lush garden space, greenery and fresh edible plants. Plants are an integral part of our re-establishing of ecological resilience and reconnection of relationship with the land.

If you’d like to regain a connection with the vegetative world whilst learning real skills for earth-based living, this workshop is for you. Learn how to utilise plants for food, medicine, fodder and fiber, whilst providing habitat and systemic stability.

Taj Scicluna , ‘the Perma Pixie’, is a passionate and motivated little Sprite who aims to inspire and educate people to live more nourishing and sustainable lifestyles using Permaculture, Awareness and Compassion! Through Passionate Permaculture Education and Sustainable Services such as Permaculture Design and the creation of Delicious Ornamental Edible Gardens, The Perma Pixie aims to nurture diversity and protect ecology through harbouring healthy and resilient communities and ecosystems.

CERES reserves the right to cancel workshops due to insufficient numbers.

If we cancel the workshop you will be entitled to a 100% refund, or you may choose to transfer to another date, subject to availability.

If you decide to withdraw 7 or more days prior to the workshop date CERES will retain a 10% administration fee.

If you decide to withdraw less than 7 days prior to the workshop date CERES will retain 100% of your workshop fee.

Should CERES have to cancel the course due to Government changes relating to the COVD-19 response, we will let you know as soon as possible. Affected participants will be sent a notification that includes details on how to re-book another date or workshop. While cancellations on our part remain refundable within the specified time period, we do hope you will consider bearing with us in these precarious and trying times, and consider the rescheduled date where possible.
