Project Description

SCHOOL GARDENS PROGRAM
Available for: Foundation to Year 12
CERES has an exciting new incursion available to schools. The CERES School Gardens program will help schools develop a clear set of goals & a vision for your site. It will represent a succinct goal statement to empower the visualisation of your project. The package will include, but is not limited to a site consultation, garden design service, and installation of any of the products included in the catalogue.
There are a number of options and steps to take with us in order to set up a productive, sustainable and engaging school garden. We have an integrated approach to a garden design process which incorporates Permaculture principles and methods.
We offer a number of options where students and teachers can be involved in the design and construction process. Initially, we recommend a site tour of CERES Community Environment Park. During the site tour we will demonstrate a range of integrated gardens, food production and compost systems, as well as energy efficient designs that can influence the design of your future school garden.
