Victorian School Garden Awards
30th September 2019
The Victorian Schools Garden Awards (VSGA) – established by Paul Crowe OAM and the late Kevin Heinze in 1977 – have a long history of bringing the joy of gardens and gardening to school aged children.
Held annually, the Awards program recognises and rewards the achievements of students and school communities in their school gardens in numerous award categories. The VSGA are not seeking the biggest or most beautiful school gardens. The Awards are looking for practical student grown gardens that incorporate learning, community and well-being into their school yards.
Schools are permitted to enter more than one Award category however separate applications must be entered targeting the specific category. Multiply entries with the one presentation will not be accepted.
