Authentic learning and helping CERES – a perfect match
CERES is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and offers Certificate II in Horticulture and Certificate II in Hospitality as part of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) program. Training programs are available for the full school year and are tailored to suit the needs of the individual student and school.
One of CERES largest veggie beds was in danger of dying over summer; in full sun with no irrigation and minimal staff on deck it really had no hope. But now thanks to some keen VCAL students we’re planting with confidence. After a year of studying towards their Cert II in Horticulture with us, students from Warringa Park took on the task of designing and installing a new irrigation system, from digging trenches to laying hoses and attaching the timer. The project provided a great sense of achievement and satisfying way to finish the year.

Bookings are now open for CERES Horticulture and Hospitality training for 2015.
