On February 28th students of the Sustainability Committee ran a milk shake event to raise awareness about the group and what we are trying to achieve. The big attraction was Bike n Blend bikes which uses human power/pedaling to run a blender and make milkshakes. The line was long and chocolate the most popular and others enjoyed strawberry, banana and mixed berry. The team worked fantastically together to manage orders, lines, pedaling and milk shake making. Although we didn’t make much money the event certainly raised awareness of the Sustainability Committee of students. In 2018 we have a larger group of students and we look forward to an exciting year of improving sustainability in the minds and actions of CHS community.
