On Numeracy and Literacy Day, some of the Buddy Groups working with Kaylah and Josie, planted trees and bushes. We watched a video clip of “The Lorax”; it told us that the world needs trees, plants, animals, fish and water. We need clean water, clean air and somewhere healthy to live.

To help our school environment, we planted trees and bushes donated to our school by Whitehorse Council and ParksWide Nursery (it was part of the Indigenous Plant Donation Scheme).

It was a good day because we had buddies, it was nice to be outdoors, and it helps us have healthy air.

We made a difference to our school!
