Butterfly Gardens
During one of our Saturday morning working bees, parents, students and staff removed sand from the sandpits in front of each of the grade 1 classrooms and replaced them with soil.
The student environment and sustainability group called the Environmental Tacklers then created new garden beds, planting delicious strawberries and delicate flowering plants such as Camellias. Hopefully some butterflies will visit the area soon.
