Dressed Up Drains
Last term some high school students from Lalor Secondary College came to Plenty Parklands Primary School to help give the drains a nice, new look. Year 4 -6 students from Plenty Parklands helped paint the images to be put on the drains to promote saving water and not to litter.

What we think about the drains:
Mackenzie: I like how the drains are bright and flashy. But for them to remain in their great state, we will have to work hard and keep them tidy.
Ghaanavy: I think the drains are very helpful and they remind us to look after the environment.
Miria: I love how the drains stand out and catch our eyes. I hope they help people realise and stop littering before it’s too late.
