Enviro Day

On August the 3rd, students from Campbellfield Heights Primary participated in ‘Enviro Day.’ The day was a combination of the launch of the school’s commitment to the ResourceSmart program and National Tree Day. Students dressed in green for the occasion and took part in six different activities ran by the school’s student leaders. Activities included identifying water bugs from Merri Creek, playing Mission h2o, learning how to save the environment at school, making a Great Pacific Dump quilt and playing a Rubbish Free boardgame. Each student also planted a tree in the school grounds. The day concluded with a whole school ‘tree’ shape photo and each student making an environmental promise.
