Fare Grow Project

At Findon Primary year 3 and 4 students take garden classes, learning permaculture, organic and sustainable practices.
This year we launched Findon Seed Share. The students save seeds from a diverse range of edible plants to be gifted forward to the school community to inspire more people to grow at home.
At the front of the school there is a very large space that we would like to transform into a food forest for gifting forward 100% of produce to Fare Share, to feed people less fortunate.
We applied, and were successful, in a $1,000 grant to help start this project. We were also featured in the Whittlesea Leader! To read the article, click on the link:
