Green is our choice at Joyce
On August 2nd, 2017 we celebrated National Tree Day at Joyce Avenue Children’s Centre by planting new lemon trees and some beautiful shrubs. Our Kinder and Toddler children had a great time turning the soil, helping to dig the holes, pouring out the mulch and watering in our new plants. Educators also held a short education sessions for the children on why we plant trees and shrubs and how important it is to care for them.
This activity links to Quality Area 3 of the National Quality Standards.
