JEM Secret leaf messages

The EAL students at Glendal Primary School have been writing positive environmental messages on autumn leaves and then re-releasing these leaves back into the wild of the school playground for other students to find. When found, the student who picks the leaf up takes it back to their classroom at the end of play time and reads it out to the whole class which sparks a short discussion about how we can implement the message into our day to day life to help the environment. The finder of the leaves and the class who find the most may also be in for a little reward at the end of the experience.

This has been a fun way of spreading positive environmental messages throughout the school!
