After moving to our new school site a cubby house was built. It is a replica of our old school building that was over a hundred years old. We decided that the garden surrounding it should be a fairy garden. Gradually bits and pieces have been planted in the garden to attract birds, butterflies and of course fairies! The garden is only young but it will grow. We have wooden toadstools to go in the garden that were crafted by the members of the Kinglake community. The mosaic paving stones were a project with a local artist in resident Michelle Day. They are beautiful. The students love playing in the cubby house and watching the garden grow. We are looking forward to the garden growing and providing flowers for the tiny nectar birds and butterflies.
