During Environment Week the students at Box Hill North PS created paper mushrooms using paper bags and bamboo sticks. These mushrooms were decorated to reflect the students’ ideas about how to look after our environment. Mushroom planting in is an initiative by Doug Rhohehamel to raise awareness for students’ artistic ability, we combined this great idea with raising awareness of environmental issues. Well done to all the students and teachers who participated, including our wonderful Kindergarten students.
