Our War on Waste
During National Recycling Week we had several activities to highlight the importance of recycling our waste, especially as our school is in a unique marine environment. Students participated in an Emu Bob and Litter Audit to see how much litter we have in our school yard and how much could be going to recycling. We got a big surprise because compared to the last litter audit we did in 2017 we had so much less rubbish which we all thought was a fantastic effort on everyone’s part! Check out these photos of then and now! Students have also been busy turning recycled materials into art work with Mrs Doyle and the result of that will be revealed soon!
