Planting of Indigenous plants and trees

The whole school was recently involved in planting hundreds of indigenous plants around the staff car park area as part of National Tree Planting day (8th Aug) . This was the first of 3 planting sessions to complete the schools \’Wildlife Corridor.

Many students have been learning about biodiversity and investigating what animals are currently living in our school grounds. Students will continue to monitor this in anticipation that the school will become a home for all things bright and beautiful, and all creatures great and small!

Additional planting has also taken place during Golden Time and as part of the Kitchen Tea Program with the 3/ 4 students, as well as with parents and friends on community planting days! It looks amazing!
