Reduce your excursions travel carbon emissions with Fifteen Trees
CERES and Fifteen Trees have teamed up to make your CERES excursion a sustainable one. Just two trees ($5.00/each) will collect the carbon emissions of your bus trip to and from CERES. It is a small cost added onto your day that will really benefit our native environment.
Once planted, you will receive a link to the Fifteen Trees website to see your trees.
During winter and spring, community groups plant these trees on your behalf. The native trees are planted out in reserves and school grounds, along roadsides and in parks. Some of the trees may even be planted at CERES. To date, Fifteen Trees have planted 36,180 trees!
Two trees will easily cover your day’s travel via bus. Over a lifetime a tree will absorb ~ 268kg of carbon. A car will emit this amount over 1,000km.
