Energy saver tokens

Since the beginning of the ‘Energy saver token project’ brought in in Week 4 of Term 2, classes have done a great job of ‘switching off!’

Here are the stats of how many tokens have been seized so far!

Week 5: 3 tokens

Week 6: 0 tokens

Keep up the great work everyone. Let’s try and keep the weekly count at ZERO!

Waste Warriors

The Sustainability team have been working hard to monitor and control the amount of rubbish (waste) at Trinity.

You may have noticed our “Waste Warriors” wheeling the large bins from the yard when they are full and swapping them with emptier bins. They are doing a great job! If you see them coming, please politely move aside to let them through.

You can help by continuing to bring ‘nude food’ to school in your lunch box! Show your parents what you have learnt.

Kinder Sustainability Partnership

The lovely Green Team and Miss Olivia will be making a visit down to one of the local kinders in the next few weeks to meet the teachers and youngsters and see what they are doing in terms of Sustainability.

The team will be taking some environmental activities along with them in order to spend some time getting to know the children there.

They will be going on a nature walk with their new little buddies and will be taking a look at their garden. Photos to follow!

Who’s in The Sustainability Team?

If you ever have any questions or comments for our passionate and enthusiastic team members, do you know who to go to?

They will be more than happy to help you or direct you to someone else.
