DRAGONFLIES- Ancient and beautiful
Year 2s – Environmental Science Point Cook College- 2012
Year 2s have been investigating dragonflies as an ancient insect and species of incredible beauty. We have been studying their life cycle and were lucky enough to witness a dragonfly nymph from our school wetlands shedding. We have been observing both dragonflies and damselflies on our wetland. Did you know Damselflies land with their wings folded back and dragonflies land with their wings outwards?
