These programs provide education to schools in a farm setting in the City of Casey.

Accessible to schools in the following Melbourne metropolitan regions: Southern

Appropriate for students in:
Early Childhood
Primary – Prep to Grade 2
Primary – Grade 3 to Grade 6
Secondary – Year 7 to Year 10

What is offered to schools:

Myuna Farm is a public community farm in the south-east area of Melbourne, owned by the City of Casey. The Farm offers a range of educational experiences for children in kindergarten through to adults in tertiary study. These include excursions and site tours.

Excursions for Prep to Grade 4 students cover the following topics:

  • waste management
  • biodiversity
  • energy/climate change
  • produce gardening

‘Environmental Tours’ are run for high school students, covering water use, sustainable building design, locally grown food and biodiversity.

Excursions run from 10am-2pm.
Environmental tours take approximately 2 hours.
These times are flexible to fit in with the schools needs.

Excursions – $10 per student
Environment tours – $7.50 per student
