How ResourceSmart Schools Connects to EASL

Organisation: EASL (Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning)

Program: The Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning is comprised of five member councils: Knox, Manningham, Whitehorse and Yarra Ranges Councils. EASL works with other stakeholders to promote lifelong learning and action that improves the health, wellbeing and environmental sustainability of local communities.

Connects to the following modules of ResourceSmart Schools: Core, Waste, Energy, Water, Biodiversity

Accessible to schools in the following Melbourne metropolitan regions: Eastern

Appropriate for students in:
All year levels, but more aimed at an adult audience.

What is offered to schools:

  • Supporting educational communities through various events including EASL network meetings
  • Professional development sessions, conferences and through small grants. All communicated via an e-news update quarterly.
