When you book a program with CERES, you are supporting something far beyond the fantastic sustainable education services we offer.

Your fees contribute to all the fantastic work we do including, research and implementation of cutting edge renewable energy technology and sustainable urban food systems, our program supporting young adults with a disability, our social enterprise “Tamil Feasts” which supports recently settled asylum seekers, as well as a plethora of fantastic local community groups who use CERES as a gathering place.

Thank-you for your support. Without you CERES would not exist. Your school/centre can be proud to know that you are helping CERES work towards a more sustainable and just world.

Fifteen Trees logo

CERES and Fifteen Trees have teamed up to make your excursion a sustainable one. Just two trees ($5.00/each) will collect the carbon emissions of your bus trip to and from CERES. It is a small cost added onto your day that will really benefit our native environment.
During winter and spring, community groups plant these trees on your behalf. The native trees are planted out in reserves and school grounds, along roadsides and in parks. Some of the trees may even be planted at CERES.
Two trees will easily cover your day’s travel via bus. Over a lifetime a tree will absorb ~ 268kg of carbon. A car will emit this amount over 1,000km.

School visitors to CERES are asked to bring a waste-free lunch. Food waste can be composted at CERES.
Please bring your own keep-cup as CERES does not offer take away coffee cups at the CERES Market. Your booking confirmation letter will contain more information.

We are working towards full wheelchair access across CERES. We recommend that all visitors using wheelchairs are accompanied by a support person as some parts of the site have difficult surfaces; gravel, inclines, sand, muddy after rain. There are wheelchair accessible toilets. Please alert our Bookings Staff if there will be visitors in wheelchairs with your group.

We encourage you become familiar with our Risk Management Policy before visiting CERES. Click here to read our policy

After your booking is confirmed, cancellations will be charged $60 for more than a weeks notice, and up to the full fee for less than a weeks notice.
