School of Nature and Climate
Our much-celebrated Environmental Education Course Our much-celebrated Environmental Education Course is back next Friday, packed with plenty of info on how to inspire your community on sustainability and how to talk about it from a place of hope, instead of fear. 

This 8-week short course is taught by the Australian Environmental Educator of the Year (2019) and can be broken down into individual training days for sessions 1-6, or tackled in the one go! 

Some super topics covered include:
♻️ Indigenous perspectives
♻️ Zero waste
♻️ Renewable energy 
♻️ Water use
♻️ Biodiversity in nature

We're running a 15 week course on introducing you We're running a 15 week course on introducing you to permaculture and horticulture 🌏 🌱 

This 3 unit accredited taster course is run onsite at @ceresbrunswick and you'll be learning in our organic urban farm and our much-loved @ceresnurserybrunswick with visits to our propagation area. The perfect intro course if you're looking for a taster or a career change.

The course starts Tuesday the 23rd of August and bookings close on Monday the 22nd!

We welcome applications from those with disabilities. It is important to us that our students receive training, assessment and support services that meet their individual needs, so as part of this commitment, all applicants will be interviewed by the VET Co-ordinator prior to enrolment to determine their needs.

We're very excited to be celebrating the release o We're very excited to be celebrating the release of the Earth Restorer's Guide to Permaculture by Rosemary Morrow OAM 🌱

This important book offers us a wonderful 512 pages of permie solutions for a restorative way of living and a guide to a hopeful relationship with all life.

Rosemary will be chatting with Lorna our Learning and Innovation Director at the @ceresnurserybrunswick, followed by a Q&A with the audience. So jot down all your permie questions, and come down to learn together.

Commencing on August 13th, the PDC is back with a fresh structure and new content to reflect the most up-to-date permaculture practices.

The new course offers a stronger focus on urban environments, with the addition of exciting new sessions including:

🌱 An 'Urban Excursions' weekend visiting Joe’s Market Garden, local permaculture rental properties, and @kat.lavers' incredible permaculture paradise: The Plummery
🌱 New hands-in-the-dirt experiential sessions to ensure that participants learn through doing
🌱 Extending our most popular sessions including @retrosuburbiaofficial

With over 100 hours of contact time, you will learn from our expert team of permaculture educators and practitioners, and work with a group of like-minded people.
